Join us monthly on our wellness journey with the Kitchen on Fire team to support your body and mind, one pillar at a time. We’ll spend this year learning how the pillars work together to create balance for better health outcomes and improved quality of life through traditional foods, healthy habits, and SMART goal setting.

March is Sleep Awarness Month so we’re focusing on rest and recovery
This month we will focus on sleep which is one of the Pillars of Well-Being. Chef Olive will demonstrate a delicious Chocolate Avocado Mousse which is an ideal healthy evening snack to fend off hunger overnight, though can be enjoyed any time of day
Nutrition Consultant Lisa Miller will lead us through a discussion about a variety of appropriate foods, beverages and lifestyle habits to support restorative sleep including a list of evening snack options to please everyone in your home!

Meet Chef Olive and Lisa Miller
Chef Olivier (“Olive”) Said is the founder and co-owner of Kitchen on Fire and one of the East Bay’s most popular culinary personalities. Chef Olive teaches many of the most popular Kitchen on Fire classes, leads team-building and other events, and is also a Nutrition Professional.
Lisa M. Miller, BS, NC is a Nutrition Consultant who teaches classes with a nutrition focus, promoting healthy living through meals made with high-quality ingredients and traditional cooking methods. She earned her certification with honors from the state-licensed Bauman College, College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts in Berkeley. She has a private nutrition practice, Ocean View Nutrition, and is also a Co-Owner, Nutrition Program Director, and Instructor of nutrition and cooking classes at Kitchen on Fire.
