Teach your teen a valuable and meaningful skill they can build on for the rest of their lives. Our instructors are talented chefs and mentors who love to share their passion for food!
Our teen camps are hands-on! That means students actively cook along with the chef, who provides step-by-step demonstrations and support at every corner.
The minimum age requirement for all teen classes is 12.
A waiver will need to be signed by a parent or guardian prior to the class in order for them to be able to participate.
Teens age 15-17 are also welcome to join almost any regularly scheduled cooking class on our calendar.
COVID PRECAUTIONS: We follow CDC and local guidelines and mandates. Currently, masks are optional.

We offer teen programming in several formats.
- Four day camps: Spring, summer, winter breaks – savory & baking options
- One day holiday sessions: Monday or Friday sessions for holidays during the school year
- After School sessions: Wednesdays each month 4-6pm, four sessions
- Family friendly classes

The Summer ‘23 teen camps were exciting, challenging, and very tasty. Each week a new group of young people sliced, diced, sautéed, and simmered their way through a new menu each day to produce spectacular results from culinary traditions spanning the globe. Fearlessly, they tasted new flavors, learned new recipes, and mastered new cooking skills.

Allergies & Dietary Needs: Please let us know about your Teen’s dietary restrictions so the chef is aware and can offer substitutions when we are cooking together! Please let us know in the food allergy section of the booking page and we will do our best to accommodate their dietary needs.
Note from Chef Olive: Students will learn important cooking techniques and hopefully get the “bug” for cooking as we do here at Kitchen on Fire. It is all about having fun in the kitchen!
