Bûche de Noël
Centuries ago, wooden logs decorated with holly, pinecones, or ivy were burned in families’ homes at the end of the winter season to cleanse the air and welcome the start of the new year. This tradition morphed into bûche de Noël, the now classic French holiday dessert. The bûche de Noël is a rolled, filled sponge cake, frosted and adorned with meringue mushrooms and edible décor to resemble a Yule log.
Our own Chef Gaby cherishes his childhood memories of growing up in France, when he would look forward to bûche de Noël all year long until Christmas came. He is delighted to bring this tradition to you, making it a part of the memories you make with your family and friends this holiday season.

Bûche de Noël
Handmade, fluffy vanilla chiffon cake lightly soaked with espresso and coated, rolled, and finished with a homemade coffee buttercream. The buttercream is crafted using two techniques combined - Swiss meringue and French buttercream. Finally, this delicious dessert is decorated with light and crunchy meringue mushrooms and sugar holly. This one’s for the coffee fans!
Handmade, elegant chocolate chiffon cake lightly soaked with light rum syrup and coated and rolled with homemade chocolate and hazelnut praline cream. Finished with a rich, glossy chocolate glaze. A decadent dream!
Handmade, vanilla and lemon zest chiffon cake lightly soaked with kirsch (a cherry brandy), coated, rolled, and finished with a blissful combination of mascarpone and homemade, perfectly balanced tart-and-sweet lemon curd. Homemade meringue mushrooms and sugar holly provide the finishing touch. This is lemon perfection!
